In our unit, we are combining History and English in a Highschool setting. We planned for a 45 minute class, give or take set up and other things. For History, the class is likely to be American History for 10th - 12th graders. This unit will be about the founding fathers, the constitution, as well as political philosophy of the time. For English, our focus is on American political literature using the Constitution as a starting point. We will be covering the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, early colonial literature, speech presentation, and the freedom of speech.
