History:
Today will be similar to yesterday in that the class will be in computer lab either editing their powerpoint or video. Once again anything new for research should be added to wiki space so I can monitor progress. Some groups will be starting to finalize video possibly uploading it to youtube by now, or practicing powerpoint presentations.



English:

BASICS

Word choice - Use textbook again if necessary to teach what it means
- show examples using poetry (easiest to see)
- MAKE SURE they know that word choice is important in both literature and poetry

APPLICATION
- Have you ever thought about word choice in your papers for this class? Would it change the meaning if you took words out? Is less more? Which do you prefer to read: long lines or short? Which makes an impact on your style?

ACTIVITY
- Have students take their personalized Constitutions and find what they see as the imortant of emphasized parts. What would you say is the stress or point of these documents? Discuss as groups.
- Have the groups then put the documents into wordle www.**wordle.net** This will give them a chance to see the importance of word choice.
- Which words are the biggest or occur the most? Does this make you want to change your document? What would you change? Or is this what you predicted?
